(Mexico City, Mexico, 1943 – Morelos, Mexico, 2017): Artist, editor, essayist, professor, and activist. He was internationally recognized for his pioneering work in the scope of Mexican unconventional art of the 70s, especially in media such as mail art, media arts, performance, and installations. He also encouraged the rise of editorial productions with mimeograph and other low-cost resources, among which the manual El libro: cómo hacerlo y cómo usarlo usando el mimeógrafo stands out; in it, he develops notions around cooperative printmaking processes, understanding it as a way of social transformation.
