Travesías Terremoto
Travesías Terremoto is a research residency program for Latin American artists in collaboration with Ayarkut. The project aims to explore decentralized territories throughout the continent while creating spaces for collective research and reflection. Organized in yearly iterations, each volume brings together five artists in a specific territory of the continent, during which a particular interdisciplinary theme derived from the extensive legacy of Terremoto magazine in the mapping and development of critical approaches to artistic practices in Latin America and the Caribbean is explored. The program includes an immersion in the local scene of each destination, a public programme, an exhibition and a print publication.
