Agustín Díez Fischer

(Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1982) Researcher, professor, and curator. He obtained his PhD in Art History and Theory at the University of Buenos Aires (2017), where he now teaches at the Faculty of Philosophy and Literature. He is director of the Centro de Estudios Espigas in Buenos Aires, an archive affiliated with the School of Art and Heritage of the Universidad Nacional de San Martín (UNSAM), which holds the largest collection of research materials on Argentinean art. He also directes the Diplomatura en Gestión y Conservación de Archivos de Arte at the UNSAM. He has curated various exhibitions, among them The Words of Others: León Ferrari and Rhetoric in Times of War, along with Ruth Estévez and Miguel López, for the Getty Foundation's Pacific Standard Time initiative at the REDCAT space in Los Angeles (2017).
