Daniela Ricciardi

(Santiago, Chile, 1982) Artist and educator. She teaches at the University of Santiago de Chile and is currently pursuing a PhD in Didactics of Artistic Expression at the Complutense University of Madrid. Her work is oriented toward the potential of research in arts and the crossings between education and art in the instruction of teachers. She has long experience in the development of workshops and educational projects in various social and cultural institutions. Among these, stand out her participation as an artist-researcher in initiatives of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage of Chile concerning contemporary art in the instruction of kindergarten educators, as well as the coordination of the project Educating the Institution and Planners at the National Center of Contemporary Arts in Cerrillos, among others. Her main interest is devoted to the practices of contemporary and collaborative art and how it can be a learning device for linking different disciplines. She currently is part of Colectivo Hab, with whom she develops projects in the aforementioned lines of work.
