Gonzalo Lagos

(1988 Neuquén, Argentina) Dance artist and independent curator. His work is developed at the intersection of performative arts and visual arts from choreographic and performative approaches. Bachelor of Arts from the University of Buenos Aires. He was part of the Artists Program at the Universidad Di Tella (2017). He has been part of curatorial, educational and public programming teams in institutions such as Centro Cultural Kirchner, Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires and Parque de la Memoria. His work has been presented at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Buenos Aires, Munar Arte, Galería Gachi Prieto, Universidad Di Tella, Centro Cultural Kirchner, and El Gran Vidrio (Córdoba), among others. Artist-in-residence at the Museo Tamayo, Mexico City (2019). Artistic director and creator of El Asunto de lo Remoto, a cycle of actions that bridges action and reflection on performative practices. His latest creation, Invocar el acto, was presented at Chela, as part of the Performance Biennial, and at Ruth Benzacar Gallery in Buenos Aires (2022) in co-creation with Guille Mongan, Luciana Lamothe and Jor Mongan.
