Fabiola Uribe

(Bogotá, Colombia, 1974) Architect specialized in Urban Design from the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano, with a Master's degree in Theory and History of Architecture. She has taught History and Urbanism at the Universidad Nacional, Universidad del Rosario, and Universidad Piloto de Colombia. She has also worked as a researcher for various publications in the field of heritage, and as an architect designer and participatory design with district entities. Fabiola Uribe participated as academic director in the creation of the Fundación Escuela Taller de Bogotá. As of 2011, she is founder and director of the project 'LunÁrquicos, práctica experimental de arquitectura con niños.' LunÁrquicos has positioned itself as one of the most recognized architectural education projects for children and youth, due to its didactic architecture proposals. They approach architecture from the conceptual, the formal, the structural, the place, and the symbolic, both in educational centers and cultural institutions. Therefore, she has been invited to give courses, seminars, and lectures in national and international venues.
