Rosario Romero
(Mexico City, 1982) Performing artist. She graduated from the Escuela Profesional de Danza de Mazatlán (2007) and from the Master in Advanced Design, with honors, from the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (2022). Her interests span research and creation from the body, particularly in relation to the affective study of cities. She carries out her practice in the disciplinary threshold of dance and urban design from a performative approach, that is, from the creation of spaces, videos, texts, images, or performances that activate processes for the reinterpretation of urban space. Since 2011, she has been the director of Trauma Interdisciplina, an artistic collective with several national awards such as PADID 2017 from CENART and PFPyCC 2015 from FONCA.
