María Victoria Guzmán
(Santiago, Chile) Educator and researcher. She specializes in visual culture, museums, and communities. She is a lawyer with graduate studies in Philosophy and Aesthetics, and an MA in Cultural and Creative Industries from King's College, London, UK. She was awarded the recognition for the best thesis of her generation, Haz Tu Tesis en Cultura, FONDART Nacional, among others. She is currently completing a PhD in Museum Studies at the University of Leicester, UK. In addition, she is an art critic and the founder of the blog El Gocerío, and writes frequently for academic and specialized magazines.
