Lara Marmor

(Buenos Aires, 1977) Curator. She holds a BA from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She was awarded several training scholarships and participated in Materia Abierta, a school of art, theory and technology in Mexico. She was part of the Fotogalería del Teatro San Martín's curatorial committee with Ariel Authier and Bruno Dubner (2019-2022). There, she curated exhibitions by Fotoestudio Luisita, Cecilia Szalkowicz, and Alejandro Cesarco, among others. She has curated more than a hundred projects, some of the most recent ones are Darle forma al centro (CCEBA, 2021); Reunión, group show (Ruth Benzacar, 2021); Hotel Palmera by Matías Duville (co-curated with G. Pérez - Barreiro, Fortabat Collection, 2020); Radio by Bruno Dubner (C.C.Kirchner, 2018); El dominio del mundo by Eugenia Calvo (UTDT, 2017), and Mano de obra by Juan José Cambre (Fortabat Collection, 2017). As a curator, she was recognized in the competitions Proyectos Curatoriales (Proa, 2014) and Jóvenes Curadores (arteBA, 2013). Between 2015 and 2020, she was a professor for Curatorial Studies in the Artists’ Program at Universidad Di Tella (UTDT), where she also taught Contemporary Art (2010-2018); since 2017, she has been teaching Curatorial Project I at Universidad Nacional de las Artes (UNA) in Buenos Aires. She writes about art.
