Nayse López

(Brazil, 1992) Journalist, playwright, and performing arts curator. Nayse has curated and organized numerous exhibitions and conferences in the fields of dance, performing arts, and cultural cooperation. She has been guest curator of the Panorama Festival since 2001, and since 2006, she became general and artistic director of the Festival and other projects of the Panorama Cultural Association. She is the founder and editor of Idança, a specialized dance website. In 2018, she was one of the programmers and artistic directors of the riofestiv.al project, the first fully online art festival in Brazil. In 2020, she directed the Panorama Luto project, a 51-hour live-streamed tribute to the victims of covid-19 in Brazil, which brought together more than 300 people who read texts about mourning, hope, solidarity, art, and freedom. In 2021, she assumed the artistic direction of the international platform Panorama Raft, with a programming of 10 unreleased shows created to be watched online during the pandemic.
