Diana Rangel

(Caracas, Venezuela, 1987) Artist and clinical psychologist with psychoanalytic approach. After completing her studies at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, she studied contemporary photography at the International Center of Photography in New York and a postgraduate program in Arts, Pedagogy and Social Transformation at The European Graduate School in Switzerland. Through her practice, Diana Rangel addresses the relationship between art and mental health, adopting different roles and places of enunciation. In this way, her work becomes a reflection around pedagogical processes in which the subjective construction and the search for individuation converge amid archives, encounters, and shared stories. Her research materializes in photographic installations, performance, video, and publications, and has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
