Guido Yannitto

(Mendoza, Argentina, 1981) Artist and cultural manager based in Salta, Argentina. He holds a BA in Painting from the National University of Córdoba. He lived in Mexico City, where he continued his training in private workshops. In 2009, he attended the artist program at the Di Tella University. He has carried out different international residencies: FLORA ars+natura in Bogota, Colombia; Jan Van Eyck in Maastricht, The Netherlands; Pivô in Sao Paulo, Brazil; RAVI in Liege, Belgium. In 2018, he received the first prize in the Textile Art category at the Salón de Artes Visuales of the Argentinean Ministry of Culture. Some of his works are part of different private and public collections. Since 2019, he has been working alongside Andrei Fernández with a group of weavers of the Wichí people of Salta Thañí, assisting and promoting their works in order for them to gain a place in the field of contemporary art. In 2022, he founded Remota Galería with Gonzalo Elias, a project specializing in contemporary art from Salta.
