Rosario García Martínez

(Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1983) Researcher and educational-cultural manager. She has a degree in Art History (Universidad de Buenos Aires), with postgraduate studies in education (FLACSO-Argentina). She is currently studying in the PhD in Human Sciences program of the Universidad Nacional de San Martín. Her research focuses on practices in the cultural field that propose alternative ways of approaching teaching, learning, and knowledge. Since 2008, she works at Fundación Proa, where she has taught and coordinated the Education Department; currently, she coordinates the Public Programs and Training Programs. Rosario is author of the book Por una institución híbrida. Experiencias de interacción entre Museo y Universidad (Fundación Proa, 2020), and co-editor of Escribir al Hilo. Clínica de escritura sobre prácticas educativas en museos. Ensayos reunidos (Proa-MUAC, 2022), a publication resulting from the homonymous program developed in collaboration with MUAC-Mexico. She has given lectures and workshops in institutions such as Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, La Casa Encendida in Madrid, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo in Santiago de Chile, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de México. She has published articles on art and education on platforms such as A*DESK, Art on Trial, La Escuela___, among others. Since 2021, she is part of the RESET collective.
