Rosario García Martínez

(Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1983) Researcher and educational-cultural manager. She has a degree in Art History (University of Buenos Aires), with postgraduate studies in pedagogy and education (FLACSO-Argentina). She researches practices in the cultural field that propose alternative ways of approaching teaching, learning, and knowledge. Since 2008, she works at Fundación Proa where she has worked as an educator and then as a coordinator in the Department of Education, being in charge of Adult Programs and Programs with Universities; currently, she also coordinates the Public Programs and Training Programs. In 2016, she was responsible for the launch of the "Proa a Distancia" program, for graduate courses on art and culture in articulation with exhibitions, with a scope throughout the country and Latin America. She coordinates initiatives that promote research and writing around educational practices in museums and cultural institutions, including the "Escribir al Hilo" program, the first writing clinic aimed at education professionals in art museums in Latin America (MUAC-UNAM, Mexico). She is author of the book Por una institución híbrida. Experiencias de interacción entre Museo y Universidad (Fundación Proa, 2020).
