Nicolás Pradilla

(Mexico City, 1978) Professor, editor, and researcher. He is a PhD candidate and Master in Art History from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He is currently researching organizational strategies and educational tools of collective artistic practices in Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Since 2010, he co-directs the 'taller de ediciones económicas' (t-e-e), a workshop oriented towards artistic research and knowledge linked to the territory, that he has built together with Sol Aréchiga Mantilla, Gabriela Castañeda, Sofía Carrillo, and Fabiola Iza. Since 2020, he has been part of Grupo de domingos, a Latin American study network started by Jessica Gogan. He collaborates with Sofía Gallisá Muriente and Paula Piedra in the Manual del empleade, a work group on self-managed artists’ organizations promoted by Beta Local (Puerto Rico) and TEOR/ética (Costa Rica). He has published in media such as Counter Signals, Gas TV, Terremoto, Horizontal, and is a collaborator of Islario. Agua, tierra, territorios. He is the author of Un modelo de organización colectiva para la subjetivación política (t-e-e, 2019).
