José Luis Falconi

(Lima, Perú, 1973) Professor, artist, curator, art critic and writer. He is a professor of art and human rights at the University of Connecticut, as well as president of Cultural Agents, Inc. an NGO that promotes civic engagement and creativity through arts education. He received his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 2010. From 2001 to 2011 he was Curator of the David Rockefeller Art Forum for Latin American Studies at Harvard University, curating over thirty exhibitions of cutting-edge Latino and Latin American artists in an academic setting. Until July 2017 he was Associate of the Department of Art History and Architecture at Harvard University, where he completed his postdoctoral studies in 2011.
