Costanza De Rogatis
(Caracas, Venezuela, 1976) Artist and curator. A graduate of Fondazione Studio Marangoni School of Photography in Florence, Italy, she also has a degree in Arts from Universidad Central de Venezuela. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Philosophy at Universidad Simón Bolívar. During her photographic education, she attended workshops with renowned photographers such as Rineke Dijkstra, Arno Minkkinen, Elina Brotherus, Anna Fox and Andrew Bruce, Abelardo Morell, and Paolo Woods, among others. As a curator, she has developed projects and exhibitions of Venezuelan contemporary art and photography for institutions such as Museo Alejandro Otero, Museo de la Estampa y el Diseño Cruz-Diez, Sala Mendoza, La Caja Center for Visual Research, and Fundación Empresas Polar. As an artist, she has participated in selected group exhibitions in Europe and Venezuela. Since 2016, her work has been shown in solo exhibitions, the most recent being Ofrenda (Abra Caracas, 2021-2022).
