Manuel Vásquez-Ortega
(Villa de Cura, Venezuela, 1994) Researcher and architect. Professor of History of Arts and Architecture at the Universidad de Los Andes (Venezuela, 2019-2022). His texts and theoretical concerns have been published in platforms such as Terremoto, Artishock, Prodavinci, Archivo de Fotografía Urbana, and Tráfico Visual, as well as in international academic journals. Since 2017, he coordinates the independent art initiative Espacio Proyecto Libertad (Mérida, Venezuela). In 2020, he was a member of the selection jury for the 16th Eugenio Mendoza Award (Caracas), and in 2021, he was curator of the project Atlas Inconcluso (Goethe-Institut Venezuela). He is currently research assistant at La Escuela___.
