Sophia Arrazola

(Guatemala, 1993) Community artist, feminist and futurist with a focus on gender issues and human rights. She is the founder and executive director of the Mi Calle Nuestra Calle initiative, and is the impact coordinator at La Nueva Fábrica. She lives and works in Mexico City. Her artistic and research practice focuses on designing, executing and facilitating community art processes in public spaces, in both urban and rural contexts, resulting in artworks influenced by the anthropology of the future. Sophia has more than eight years of experience developing social innovation projects and leading anthropological research and participatory art processes in Latin America and Europe. She has collaborated with organizations such as UN Women, USAID and UNHCR.
