Alina Marinelli

(Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1983) Performing artist, scenic researcher, and educator moving across dance, choreography and performance. She is trained in several techniques and approaches to movement, with a degree in Choreographic Composition from the National University of the Arts (UNA) in Buenos Aires, where she currently teaches. She co-directs El Asunto de lo Remoto - performance cycle, the Club Galería de Performance Art project, and the REM (Residencias en Movimiento) program. Her works and research are framed in the context of the planetary crisis and anthropocentrism, taking shape in multiple formats and developed in collaboration with plants, animals, objects, and humans, from an expansive and disseminated choreographic practice. Her projects have received support from entities such as Prodanza, Fondo Nacional de las Artes, Fondo Metropolitano de las Artes y Ciencias, and Mecenazgo.
