(São Paulo, Brazil, 1979) Visual artist with a degree in Art Education. She works as a textile artisan, illustrator, costume designer, and urban interventionist. Since 2016, she has been part of the Ateliê Vivo collective as one of its artists, coordinators and educators. Her drawings, prints, weavings, embroideries, costumes, and clothes are spontaneous experiments where materials are the guiding thread for creating universes of textures and meanings. From the daily life at the studio, Flávia researches collective ways of working the textile field as a possible space for transposing subjectivities, reflections on the world we live in, and the new landscapes we can create.
