José de la Torre
(Quito, Ecuador, 1989) Architect and teacher. Co‐founder of Ese Colectivo. He holds a Master's degree in Advanced Architecture and Constructive Technologies from Delft Technical University, the Netherlands. He is a professor at the Salesian Polytechnic University. "The importance of local building materials in the Galapagos Islands and their relationship with sustainable urban development" is one of his main publications. He devotes his time to architectural design, project management, academic research, architectural photography, and the production of the architecture podcast La Parleta.
