Emmanuel Tepal Calvario

(San Pablo del Monte – Cuauhtotoatla, Tlaxcala, Mexico, 1991) Researcher, writer, and artist. He has a master’s degree in Philosophy from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP). He has participated as a speaker at national and international conferences on philosophy, anthropology, oral literature, and art. He has received scholarships from the Young Creators Fund from the National Fund for Culture and the Arts – FONCA (2017-2018) and the Program of Encouragement for Creation and Artistic Development of Tlaxcala (2016-2017 and 2019). He obtained the State’s Youth Award – Academic Achievement Distinction (2018) and won the Beatriz Espejo Short Story Prize with the work: "Voces Cuaxepas" (2019). He is a collaborator-researcher in the Arte a 360 Grados collective. He is currently dedicated to advancing studies on the cultural heritage of his place of origin and literary productions in genres such as short stories and essays.
