Maciá Pintó

(Maracaibo, Venezuela, 1946) Draftsman and architect. He has been a professor at the University of the Andes (ULA-Mérida) and a visiting professor at the Simón Bolívar University (Caracas). He is an associate professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Central University of Venezuela. He is the author of the academic program and founding dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Visual Arts of the José María Vargas University. He was coordinator of the Deans of Architecture Nucleus of the National Universities Council, participating in the design of academic projects and in the evaluation of educational institutions commissioned by the University and the Ministry of Education. He works in publication design and as a curator of art and architecture exhibitions. As a draftsman, his work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions. He has published articles, research, and books on architecture. He has held various relevant positions in the university and professional environment and is an advisory member of different institutions, including the Villanueva Foundation.
