Alipio Melo
(Pitumarca, Cusco, Peru, 1989) Weaver. He made his way from the age of seven as the only male weaver in his community, defying gender stigmas. His determination and passion for weaving have led him to become one of the most outstanding weavers in the Cusco region. He is a member of the Andean art collective Noqanchis.
