Cinthya García Leyva

(Mexico City, 1985) Researcher and cultural manager. Her work focuses on interdisciplinary and intermedial practices. She holds a master's degree in Comparative Literature from UNAM, where she is currently pursuing a PhD. She has lectured, led workshops and worked as a curator in cultural centers and universities in Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Germany, and the United States. In 2018, she was part of the curatorial team of the exhibition Modos de oír (LAA-Ex Teresa Arte Actual). She was general co-coordinator of the PoéticaSonora MX project in 2016 and 2017. During those years, and to date, she hosts the radio program Islas Resonantes on Radio UNAM. Until 2019, she collaborated as head of planning and content for the Art, Science and Technologies Program (ACT) and the same year she coordinated the Max Aub-Transdisciplinary Chair in Art and Technology. Since 2020, she directs the cultural center Casa del Lago UNAM in Mexico City.
