Carlos Alberto Vargas Hermenegildo
(Oaxaca, Mexico, 1994) Researcher. Originally from a native community of Oaxaca. He has a degree in Communication for Social Development from the Instituto Superior Intercultural Ayuuk (ISIA), a master's degree in sociology from the Universidad Iberoamericana Ciudad de México (IBERO Mx), and is pursuing a PhD in Social and Political Sciences at the same university. His work addresses the topics of communal governments, communality, community, communal political action and, recently, communal education.
