Ese Colectivo
(Quito, Ecuador, 2014) Architecture studio co-founded by Santiago Granda and José de la Torre. Their practice focuses on experimentation with alternative construction materials and technologies, research, and the disseminaton of architecture. In 2021, they were recognized by the specialized portal Archdaily as one of the Best Emerging Practices. Some of their most distinctive projects are the Patch House, the Endemic House, and the CentroCesal Building, the first laminated wood building in Ecuador.
