Pablo Pineau

(Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1966) Professor and researcher. He holds a PhD in Education from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He is a full professor in the Chair of History of Argentinean and Latin American Education (FFyL-UBA) and at the ENS N. 2 "Mariano Acosta" of the City of Buenos Aires. He has wide experience in national and foreign publications as author, co-author, and director in the field of history, theory and politics of education. He has vast experience in teacher training and postgraduate courses in national and foreign institutions, as well as in the direction and participation in research projects. He was president of the Argentinean Society of History of Education and director of the Department of Educational Sciences at the FFyL-UBA. He received the Tinker scholarship as visiting professor at Teachers College, Columbia University (New York, USA).
