Melina Pekholtz

(Asunción, Paraguay, 1982) Architect and researcher. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), a Master’s in Collective Housing from UPM and ETH Zürich, and is a specialist in architectural anthropology from Universidad de Barcelona. She was a teaching assistant in History of Architecture at UBA, and in Architectural Criticism at Universidad Nacional de Asunción. Her work as researcher is focused in urban sociology. Melina is also an urban and gender activist. She is part of Territorios Paralelos, an architecture, urbanism, landscape and research studio in Asunción. She is also part of the curatorial team of the online platform ‘The Society Paraguay.’
