Juliana M. Streva
(Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1990) Interdisciplinary researcher, lecturer, and experimental filmmaker. Her work engages with anticolonial, critical race and feminist epistemologies and practices, for questioning the colonial legacies of today while learning with the grassroots movements for radical transformation. She is currently based in Germany, where she is a postdoctoral fellow at the Sociology Institute and Lateinamerika-Institut from Freie Universität Berlin. She is a member of the project “Beyond Social Cohesion: Global Repertoires of Living Together” funded by Berlin University Alliance. Juliana holds a PhD in Law (Critical Legal Studies) from Freie Universität Berlin, a Master's in Constitutional Law and Theory of the State from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, and a Bachelor in Law and Society from the same institution. She has previously been a visiting fellow at Brown University, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a Junior Fellow at Maria Sibylla Merian Centre Conviviality-Inequality in Latin America.

Su trabajo se articula con epistemologías y prácticas anticoloniales, estudios críticos de la raza y feministas para cuestionar los legados coloniales, al tiempo que aprende con movimientos de base por la transformación radical. Actualmente reside en Alemania, donde es becaria postdoctoral en el Instituto de Sociología y el Lateinamerika-Institut de la Freie Universität de Berlín. Juliana es doctora en Derecho (Critical Legal Studies) por la Freie Universität de Berlín, tiene un máster en Derecho Constitucional y Teoría del Estado por la Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro y es licenciada en Derecho y Sociedad por la misma institución. Anteriormente ha sido becaria visitante en la Universidad de Brown, en la Universidad Hebrea de Jerusalén, y becaria junior en el Centro Maria Sibylla Merian Convivencia-Igualdad en América Latina.
